The design is meant to provoke an image of stars against streams of interstellar gas and dust.

The story in my family goes like this: No woman working towards an art degree will ever achieve this. I designed this ring to keep myself focused on breaking this pattern. I wear it as an engagement ring to my major. Sure, it sounds silly, but you can essentially think of it as a commemorative piece as I am the first woman in my family to finally be getting her art degree.

Not a happy camper right when I took this. Can you tell?

How I feel: Decent. The shirt was given to me gently used by a coworker, and the skirt is new from Stein Mart which I got on sale with a 20% off coupon.
