Increase your engines performance and longevity with a BSH catch can system. Our catch can catches oil vapors and still fully meets emission requirements. Internally the catch can has an integrated baffling system that forces oil to separate from the air as it passes through. This oil then falls into the gut of the can and can be drained at your next oil change.

For the best performance possible you do not want this oil making its way back into your engine! Short term oil vapors being ingested result in a greater chance for pre ignition, over time however this oil will cake the intercooler and plumbing reducing its efficeincy. Outside of oil, the can will also catch water and fuel.

Here the valve and mud ring are secured in place and proplerly spaced relative to the surface of the later-to-be completed wall surface. You can imagine how easily the (gray plastic) valve cartridge can be changed out. This is perhaps the most significant factor in the selection of this valve. Notice the black marks on the cartridge at about 1:00 O'Clock. After setting the max hot water limit, the mark was placed for reference because the cap was easily bumped out of place... changing the setting.

Sink Flange Instructions:
To install your new custom finish sink flange, refer to the Installation/Use & Care Instruction that came with your disposer. Substitute the new sink flange in place of the one that came with the disposer. Secure sink flange with plumber's putty (putty not included) and continue to follow the installation instructions in your USe & Care Manual.
